Today I was opening DA and seeing something like 140 messages to read, when usually I have no more than 5 or 6. In a state of total awe I found out that, without any warning, The Light At The End Of The World has been awarded the amazing Daily Deviation mark! Views have boosted of 2000% or something like that, and my mailbox was overwhelmed of comments and favs. This never happened to me before, and it is definitely saving may day. I want to thank you all, specially ^Hanratty-Stock and ^Nico1 for supporting this Daily Deviation.

I hope I'll be able to thank you all personally in the weekend, but if not, I would like to answer a couple of comments:
a) No, English is not my mother tongue. I'm italian. The italian script sounds better, in my opinion, not only because I speak it better but even becuase I have the feeling that the language is much more expressive (no offence dudes ^__^). b) Yes, the neverending credits have been a choice. Some people hate them, some like them. The idea was creating tension, and communicate some kind of "soft pain"
c) The movie was made with a really REALLY limited budget, so unfortunately we had no grand piano available

I would like to quote some of the comments because they make me feel SO good:

- Sad, overwhelming...beautiful. I must admit this one reached me in the heart and made me shed a tear. I am in love with the photography, the softness...the light.

- This is such a powerful,overhelming film. So subtle in his way of music, cuts, dialogs - but at the same to so moving...
Maybe it is not even just a sad film. Maybe a little, well, light of hope.
Truly amazing.

- Really beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. I agree that the starting credits went on a bit long, but the simple yet stunning story was well worth waiting for. I love the line "It almost didn't hurt anymore", but all the speech seemed well thought-out and poetic but not too wordy. Truly amazing work, congratulations on the well-deserved DD!
